The Oppo BDP-103 has hit another one out of the park. It may not be light years ahead of the BDP-93, but it is ready for 4K conversion and the Marvell Qdeo processing is impressive.

We saw the red Steinway-Lingdorf Model D tower speakers (aptly named after the piano) and just had to stop. Full range dipoles, these $150,000/pair speakers make you want to play them.

At $799 for the Polk Audio SurroundBar 9000 and $399 for the SurroundBar 5000 Instant Home Theaters, the prices are certainly attractive. This may be enough to make them successful.

The Paradigm Tribute floorstanding and Inspiration bookshelf 30th Anniversary speakers are truly collector editions. With numbered plaques and a limited run, once they are sold, there will be no more.

At CEDIA 2012 JVC unveiled their new projector lineup which ranges in price from $3,499 to $11,999 and will start shipping this November. The new lineup has a number of updates over previous models.

The Omnimount DESK65 looks just like a regular desk, but when you press the lever it lifts vertically. In fact it has a full 20" of vertical lift... The entire desk lifts up and down.

One of the more impressive products we saw at CEDIA was the new Omnimount Lift40. It handles TVs between 30" and 55" - basically anything up to 40 pounds in weight. It's got a really low profile.

The Sherbourn PT-7030 Preamp and Multichannel Amplifiers (PA-7/350, a 7-channel x 350W amp; PA-7/150 7x220w, PA-5/200 5x200w, and PA-2/50 2x50watts) are overviewed.
