Introduction
For those of you that have read the $1500 - $2000 Floorstanding Speaker Shootout article, you've already heard of the Infinity Classia C336s. They do look great and they have very good bass extension. The bass punch was a bit weak and the high end a tad fatiguing. However, out of all the speakers I've reviewed at this price point, the C336s are the most likely to go on sale. When they do, you're going to want to take a second look at them. In a second setup or a movie/family room, the Classias are going to both look and sound great.

It was brought up by kaiser_soze again today with another post that I deleted which basically went over the same points. Don't know why he went after Tom the way he did two months after the review but I felt it wasn't the place for it.
I have absolutely no connection to the Audioholics E-store.
Thank You!

No disrespect - however, something is strange. Why was this speaker
brought up again - except for the fact, that it may really be going on
sale. The reviewer is good - the speaker is weak.

Some of the points he's making have their merit. The whole “crossover components” and “basket-choice” material stuff in particular raised an eyebrow from me. Technical elaboration on pros and cons would help, a simple “you don't see this on speakers in this price range” doesn't so much.

Keep the topic on point of the review, not the reviewer.
It's nice that you think that a few modifications would make this an excellent speaker but most don't buy speakers just to modify them.
