- Sunfire HRSIW8 Dual 8" In-Wall Subwoofer Preview [0.37] by tom,October 31, 2006 10:25
- The problem with the Sunfire HRSIW8 in-wall subwoofer system is the price. At $1700, a response only down to 33Hz is pretty unimpressive. It is not hard to find other in-wall offerings that offer more performance for less money. But it is hard to find one that has an external amp with integrated room correction. The custom installer-friendly nature of the amp and system as a whole is sure to appeal to some. If you have a newer receiver with Audyssey MutlEQ XT32 that can EQ your sub or one of the other standalone subwoofer correctly systems, you can get more performance for less. If you are looking for a decent in-wall subwoofer system with integrated room correction, the Sunfire might be for you.

- RBH "Reference" Signature In-Walls [0.37] by tom,January 05, 2009 14:35
- We have long appreciated the quality of RBH Sound offerings here at Audioholics. While we love our freestanding speakers, it is clear that the market for in-wall speakers is an important one and growing. The References line of Signature speakers from RBH has long been without an in-wall counterpart - no more. Starting at just under $1000 and running up to $3300 each, these are definitely a higher end offering. But given our experience with RBH Sound, they are likely worth every penny plus some.

- Velodyne SC-IW In-Wall Subwoofer System Review [0.35] by ray,October 31, 2006 10:25
- Overall, the SC-IW subwoofers performed well beyond my expectations and erased any preconceived notion that I had about in-wall subwoofers. It rivalled the performance of many good 10-12-inch freestanding box subwoofers making it the best in-wall subwoofer system I have heard or installed to date. I highly recommend the SC-IW subwoofer and SC-1250 amplifier to home owners, custom installers, and designers that wish to maintain the minimalist design trend without performance sacrifice. –Bravo Velodyne!
