Status Acoustics Titus 8T Floorstanding Speaker System Review [0.59] by Gene,December 10, 2012 19:00
It isn't often that I review a product that fundamentally changes the way I listen and experience audio. Status Acoustics, the premier line of RBH Sound, has managed to do just that with their new flagship Titus 8T floorstanding loudspeaker system. The sound of this speaker system transcends their physical cabinets, which is grandiose and in your face when called to do so, yet delicate like the petals of a rose beckoning you to carefully listen, rewarding you with pure unadulterated audio perfection. If you’re in the market to assemble a cost-no-object audiophile two-channel or multi-channel system, I can’t imagine anyone not being completely satisfied with the new Status Acoustics Titus 8T speaker system. These are truly what I consider to be “speakers for life”. Highly recommended!

Status Acoustics 8T Floorstanding Loudspeaker Preview [0.52] by Gene,January 10, 2012 20:05
Got $50k to splurge on a new sports car? Status Acoustics is hoping you'd spend it on loudspeakers instead. The new speaker is named the Status 8T and it is Status Acoustics most radical design yet, incorporating a two-piece design that places the midrange and treble cabinet floating above the bass cabinet. With the 8T, function follows form. One of the design goals was to minimize cabinet resonances that color sound. With the 8T’s two-cabinet design, the low and mid frequency enclosures are effectively isolated from each other, nearly eliminating cabinet resonance in the speaker system. The three 10" high excursion aluminum cone bass drivers combined with the four 6.5" Beryllium cone mid woofers and 1" Beryllium dome tweeter ensures this speaker system will play true full-range sound effortlessly at any playback level. Standing at nearly 6ft tall and tipping the scale at over 300lbs, we have little reason to doubt its output capabilities. We look forward to taking these beauties for a test drive to see if they truly deliver Ferrari like performance at Corvette pricing.
Status Acoustics Titus 8T Loudspeaker System Q&A Interview [0.47] by Gene,July 23, 2012 11:25
We were fortunate enough to have Shane Rich (Chief Engineer for RBH Sound / Status Acoustics) on site to help install their new Titus 8T Flagship speaker system in our Premier Audioholics Showcase Theater Room. After a long day of hauling these 345 pound behemoths up two flights of steps, and endless tweaking to find the ideal positioning, we sat down for a little Q&A session with the man responsible for the creation of these super speakers. It was 2am in the morning mind you, but Shane was up for the task of answering some of the questions on my mind to help gain a better understanding of this system. Shane is the fellow on the left of the 8T tower and I am on the right side. This photo was taken in the Audioholics Showcase Theater Room.
Status Acoustics 8T Speaker Blows Us Away on Youtube [0.46] by clint,September 05, 2012 23:05
This is the Status Acoustics Titus 8T, and it's custom built to order in Layton, Utah by RBH Sound. There's a lot to say about these speakers, but this is a video so I'm going to try to condense it somewhat. If a speaker is the sum of its parts, then the 8T's are quite a sum. The beryllium tweeter is arguably one of the finest dome tweeters on the market. The Midrange cone is a blend of beryllium and aluminum to offer an unparalleled stiffness to weight ratio, with a gentle break up mode beyond the bandwidth of operation. The three 10" aluminum high excursion subwoofer drivers boast a 12lb motor structure in a large vented enclosure with dual 4" dimpled ports. These speakers are revealing with endless dynamic range. I would have to say that I was completely blown away by this reference quality product. I didn't realize speakers could sound this good. This speaker system isn't for the faint of wallet, but even at $50,000/pair it seems fair. For those who can afford it, I find it difficult to imagine there being any speaker system that can rival the Status Acoustics 8T at any price! Ever since I saw Back to the Future I've wanted speakers so big and so real they could literally blow me away... These... these come close.

Status Acoustics Voce Fina Bookshelf Speaker Review [0.34] by Gene,June 09, 2014 01:00
RBH Sound has upped the ante by releasing a speaker product that truly lives up to the Status Acoustics moniker with a superbly crafted speaker system constructed of solid granite. The Voce Fina is a two-way featuring a 6.5” Beryllium / Aluminum alloy phase plug driver and 1” soft dome Scan Speak 9500 tweeter. They are undoubtedly some of the finest sounding bookshelf loudspeakers I’ve ever had the fortune of listening to. They exhibited an uncanny ability of disappearing into the room and sounding much larger than their diminutive size suggests. If you’re looking for two-channel nirvana from a price no object speaker system that sounds as good as it looks, the Status Acoustics Voce Fina will take you there.
