Am I an Audioholic? [0.15] by jim,October 07, 2007 11:04
Where am I now? It’s Friday night and I am in Clearwater Beach, Florida at the Audioholics party. I got to meet several of the vendors I have purchased from. It’s really great to meet the people who work for the companies you buy stuff from. They are super dedicated to their trade and were very happy to talk with me even though I was clearly bugging them as they set up their gear for tomorrow’s demos. I am super excited for tomorrow and the all the new things to see and hear. I also got to meet Gene, Bertica, Clint and MajorLoser (from the forums) and I have had a great time so far!

Understanding Loudspeaker Frequency Response [0.14] by Alan Lofft,March 10, 2005 20:00
When I look at Infinity, then Axiom, then Paradigm, and then Rocket, I can't see any consistency with the frequency range and the price. How can a speaker with a frequency range of 60-20,000 Hz cost four times as much as a speaker that has a rating of 30-20,000 Hz?
Fabric vs Metal Dome Tweeters: Which is Better? [0.14] by Gene,April 06, 2015 01:00
There has always been an ongoing debate about the sonic characteristics of tweeter dome materials. Do metal dome tweeters really sound "harsh," as some claim? Do silk domes sound, well, "soft" or "silky"? Different materials do have different physical properties as it relates to diaphragm performance and these can and do influence the audible behavior of the driver. There are a few basic generalizations that can be made about different tweeter dome materials. We discuss these points in our recent YouTube Video.

Call of Duty: World at War on Xbox 360 [0.14] by wayde,November 17, 2008 10:34
Everyone’s favorite World War II franchise is back – and despite initial trepidation about Treyarch’s return I’m happy to report - it’s all good! In the wake of Infinity Ward’s already legendary Call of Duty IV, we feared for World at War (ie. CoD V) after it was announced only weeks after the release of CoD IV. The new installment would not only return to its WWII roots it was developed by Treyarch, the developers that gave us the decidedly lackluster Call of Duty III. But go ahead and roast your fears with a flamethrower, first-person shooter fans! This game is an asset to the franchise.
