Yamaha NX-U10 USB Speaker Video [0.26] by clint,January 07, 2007 20:00
The Yamaha NX-U10 USB speaker is a multi-faced speaker that can be powered in almost any way imaginable... except for fuel cell or solar. OK, so it takes USB power, batteries and even AC - but it's still a cool option for getting sound that bests the often underwhelming sound quality of most laptops. With its lightweight styling and surprisingly loud output levels, the NX-U10 will make for a portable speaker solution that won't take up much room and fits nicely into your laptop case.

There, there, we feel your pain. But it's not really all that bad. In fact, we decided to put our money - uh, make that our bodies - where our mouths are. Audioholics takes itself up into the attic... in the middle of summer... in Florida... to help YOU learn how to install your surround sound speakers. Yeah, we love ya.

Fatman iTube Red-i Integrated Amp w/Speakers & iPod Dock Review [0.25] by jclarke,January 15, 2009 16:45
The iTube Red-i from Fatman is easily the coolest docking system for iPods that I have had the pleasure of enjoying on my desk. So much more than a dock and speakers for your iPod, this system can easily be the heart of your small two channel listening setup in your home, office or apartment. If you are considering docking speaker systems for your iPod and plan to spend around $500, this is a no-brainer. For the true Audioholic, this system blows the others away. Maybe you are considering a small Bose or other "big-name" all in one speaker dock product for your den or office. I suggest you rethink your purchase.
Acoustic Research WHT6024 5.1 Wireless Speaker System Review [0.25] by jclarke,October 23, 2007 10:20
One of the trends I noticed at the recent CEDIA expo in Denver was wireless speaker systems. I saw everything from a portable speaker that you might use out by the pool to systems designed to be used with traditional full-range speakers. Probably the most prevalent use of wireless in speaker systems is for rear surrounds in a 5.1 satellite speaker system. Acoustic Research has released the WHT6024, which falls into this popular category.
