Marillion Live FEAR

Marillion Live FEAR

Often referred to as the leaders of the neo-progressive movement of the early '80s, Marillion are a great deal more than that. They are purveyors of soulful, powerful, and deeply-moving music, with a long-standing reputation of impressive live shows and an imposing, faithful and loyal global fanbase.

As the first of their peers, Marillion have started to embrace the potential of the Internet for both their commercial approach and to interact with their audience. Throughout their over 35 year-long career and over 15 million records sold, they have become the most outstanding representatives of their genre.

With their latest studio album "F*** Everyone And Run (F E A R)," the second released by earMUSIC and the band's highest charting album across the globe since Steve Hogarth joined in 1989, Marillion have shown that they are as brilliant and vital as ever.

From January through September 2018, a carefully curated and strictly limited and numbered series of Marillion live albums will be released in retail stores across the globe for the very first time.

Each of these individual concerts perfectly captures the unique magic around Marillion. This Limited Edition series consists of 10 fantastic live albums — each limited to 5,000 copies worldwide and which will be released in pairs in a bi-monthly cycle.

Live Series Part 2: Unplugged At the Walls + Tumbling Down the Years

Release Date: 23.03.18

Unplugged at the Walls was recorded in 1998 in a small town on the Welsh border called Oswestry. The close location to the English sea served as a perfect setting for an intimate atmosphere. It just happened that band received a week of free food at a local restaurant in exchange for a small acoustic session in their premises.  Thus Unplugged at the Walls was born.

Tumbling Down the Years was recorded on Saturday night during the Marillion Weekend at Centre Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands in 2009.

Live Series Part 3: Smoke + Mirrors

Release Date: 25.05.18

Smoke and Mirrors were recorded on Saturday and Sunday of the Marillion Weekend in Minehead, England in 2005. Together, the two performances work as an equilibrium; Smoke on Saturday, featuring Marillion's most up-beat and high-energy songs and Mirrors on Sunday, showcasing the slower and more atmospheric side of the band.

Live Series Part 4: Happiness Is Cologne + Popular Music

Release Date: 06.07.18

Happiness Is Cologne shows the performance from the band's 2008 Happiness Is the Road performance in Cologne, Germany in 2008. Popular Music is a very special performance. It's not a full album; instead, it features songs voted for by fans. This was recorded live at the Marillion Weekend 2003 in Minehead, England.

Live Series Part 5: Live In Glasgow + Brave Live

Release Date: 21.09.18

Live In Glasgow was mainly recorded in Glasgow. Only the last two songs were recorded in Bradford and were edited together with the Glasgow tape to make a complete "main set." Brave Live was recorded at the Marillion Weekend at Center Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands on March, 2013.
