  • First Impression: Pretty Cool

Dali debuted a new On Wall loudspeaker system in their demo room at the Venetian hotel.  It is based on their Mentor series speakers and are a low profile box speaker system that simply hang from the wall like a picture frame with a mounting hole at the top and bottom of the cabinet.  They sport a 6” bass driver, and the same tweeter and ribbon array borrowed from the Mentor line.  The speaker can be oriented vertically or horizontally and the user has the ability to rotate the tweeters to ensure they are positioned for proper phase alignment.  I would have liked to post more specs and details about this product but their press kit was unfortunately incomplete.

I spent a good deal of time listening to the demo and felt that these speakers have enormous potential for a customer looking for audiophile performance with high WAF.  We have requested review samples so stay tuned for more detailed coverage.
