Marantz SC-11S1 Preamplifier

Marantz has introduced several high-end component separates at CEDIA 2007, including the SC-11S1 Preamplifier, which will be available in November with a MSRP of $3,199.

Marantz’ no-compromise SC-11S1 Reference Preamplifier echoes the distinctive voice of the company’s original and legendary Model 7 preamplifier.  Based on the pre amp section of the award winning PM-11S1 and the SC-7S2, the SC-11S1 features a new phono pre amp section, a new linear volume control and a new headphone amp. The SC-11S1’s fully balanced topology, a precision multi-gang volume control, brand new ultra high speed HDAM-SA3 buffer modules, and a choke input power supply assure that all the sonic nuances and detail are brought to life, just as the artist had intended.

With its incredible build quality beautiful cosmetics, and incredible reproduction of sound, the SC-11S1 is a seamless combination of advanced audio technology and contemporary elegance. Although the SC- 11S1 is devoutly two-channel, it acknowledges multi-channel music with a floating bus that allows users to control multiple units simultaneously.
