Can you believe this is the only screen we had a chance to see?! Denied!

Summary

  • Product Name: XBox 360 and PS3 Games
  • Manufacturer: Various
  • Review Date: January 14, 2008 13:22
  • First Impression: Gotta Have It!

Not that we had any time to demo them, but CES 2008 had a slew of new games on display. We couldn't help but be amazed by some of the graphics. First Person Shooters seemed to dominate but RPGs, driving, and more made their presence known. Hopefully, this will be the year when we can finally stop making fun of the PS3 for its lack of games (and with MGS4 and GT5 on the way, all signs point to "yes").

At Microsoft we saw:

  • Conflict - Denied Ops
  • Turning Point - Fall of Liberty
  • Space Siege
  • Frontlines - Fuel of War
  • Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures

At Sony we saw:

  • Metal Gear Solid 4 (Sweet!)
  • NBA 08
  • Hot Shots Golf 5
  • Gran Turismo 5 - Prologue

If you're a gamer, you can't help but get excited about some of these releases (and yawn at others). MGS4 at the very least is going to be a "must have" title for the PS3. For more information visit www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox360games.html or www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Games.
