Cables To Go Wireless USB Hub

Summary

  • Product Name: Wireless USB Hub
  • Manufacturer: Cables To Go
  • Review Date: January 08, 2008 11:05
  • First Impression: Gotta Have It!

Cables To Go showed off a new Certified Wireless USB hub that eliminates USB cables between the device and the PC. Using a wireless hub, users can move around an office with their laptop while maintaining access to their USB devices such as printers, flash memory devices, scanners, cameras and MP3 players. Desktop users can benefit from moving all those devices off their desk to another location. The four-port hub has a 30-foot range and can accommodate up to three host computers.

The Certified Wireless USB technology enables faster wireless data transfer rates than were previously available and provides for compatibility with most USB devices, making the certified hubs much more functional than their predecessors. The Wireless USB Hub from Cables To Go is based on chipsets from Texas-based Alereon.

The Wireless USB Hub will be available in Q2 2008. For more information please visit www.cablestogo.com.
