NAD has announced the imminent launch of two new stereo integrated amplifiers, the C 3030 ($1,199) and C 3030S ($1,499). Following in the footsteps of 2023’s C 3050 anniversary-edition amplifier, these new amps are inspired by NAD’s iconic designs of the past, but offer modern amplification and features. (See our article NAD’s C 3050 Integrated Amp Looks ‘70s, Parties Like It’s 2023.) The C 3030 and C 3030S build on the visual language reintroduced with the C 3050, but in a smaller, 14-inch-wide chassis that nods to the more compact form of the original NAD 3030 of the late 1970s. As part of NAD’s Classic Series, the new amps continue the NAD tradition of offering reliable, good-sounding products at relatively accessible prices. Behind the classy VU meters and classic script NAD logo, you’ll find internal engineering that reflects NAD’s contemporary approach to sound and usability.
Both amps deliver 50 watts per channel of NAD HybridDigital amplification. I’m assuming they use a Class D UcD module similar to what’s found in the larger 100W C3050, though NAD doesn’t specify the amplifier topology present in these new models. This omission aside, NAD is refreshingly honest about its power ratings; the 50-watt spec is listed with both channels driven, 20 Hz – 20 kHz at rated THD. (See specs above for additional dynamic power ratings.) While 50 watts may not sound like a lot, NAD claims that these amps have “the power to fill a room while maintaining balance and composure,” whether paired with bookshelf or floorstanding loudspeakers. The C 3030S is identical to the C 3030, but with the addition of BluOS-powered streaming functionality built in. Photos suggest that the C 3030S also has upgraded speaker terminals, but we have not confirmed this as of the time of writing.
A note on NAD pricing and tarrifs:
NAD’s press release, dated January 14 2026, lists the MSRP of the C 3030 at $899 and the C 3030S at $1199. But it also states that this pricing is “subject to change based on region and tariffs.” The updated price as of 1/25/2026 on authorized dealer pages like our channel partner Audio Advice lists the C 3030 at $1,199 and the C 3030S at $1,499. The tariffs troll has once again demanded a hefty fee for crossing his international bridge.
The response to the C 3050 reflects a wider shift toward more intentional listening. Vinyl and CD are returning not as replacements for streaming, but as a way to reconnect with music in a more deliberate way. With the C 3030, our goal was to make that experience accessible to more listeners. There is a tangible connection in the physical act of listening — placing a needle on a record or injecting a CD — that brings music to life. The C 3030 captures that sense of heritage while delivering the performance and simplicity expected from a modern NAD amplifier.

NAD C 3030 Integrated Amplifier
NAD says that these new amps are not overly-stylized retro replicas, nor are they anonymous black boxes designed to be hidden away in an equipment rack. Instead they balance “visual warmth with contemporary functionality,” and are designed to be “displayed, used, and kept.” Under the hood, you’ll find 50 watts per channel of clean amplification “engineered to deliver musical accuracy, control, and engagement across a wide range of loudspeakers,” according to NAD. The amps also offer modern features like HDMI eARC and aptX HD Bluetooth. I think many users will take advantage of the bass-managed subwoofer output and the optional 80Hz high-pass filter on the main speaker outputs. Bass management is something we don’t often see in traditional hi-fi components in this price range, but it is now common in contemporary streaming amps from the likes of WiiM and NAD’s sister-brand, Bluesound. The ability to set up a bass-managed 2.1-channel system is a big win in my book. Both the C 3030 and C 3030S include a moving-magnet phono input and an optical digital input, along with a line-level analog input. The C 3030S adds ethernet and WiFi to the mix.
NAD C 3030S Integrated Amplifier
However the pricing saga pans out, the C 3030 is the most affordable vintage-styled amplifier in NAD’s Classic Series, providing a look with some personality while maintaining NAD’s earned reputation for practicality. The C 3030S is also the most affordable streaming amplifier in the Classic Series, according to NAD. It uses the familiar BluOS high-resolution multi-room streaming platform to integrate more than 20 music streaming services, internet radio, local libraries, and networked storage, with support for lossless playback up to 24-bit/192kHz. The C 3030S can be controlled by the full-featured BluOS app, with the ability to group multiple rooms and share connected sources.
With this introduction, NAD continues to expand the Classic Series in a way that pays homage to its heritage while driving innovation forward. These models demonstrate that design-forward Hi-Fi does not need to be limited to special edition models or premium price points. Instead, the C 3030 and C 3030S represent an ongoing commitment to creating components that people connect with — visually, emotionally, and sonically.
