SLS Home Theater Speakers

Touting their ribbon tweeter technology, SLS displayed their three 5.1 home theater systems marketed to the consumer. Already known in the pro-audio market, SLS touts their ribbon tweeters as the answer to realistic and lifelike audio reproduction. Showing attendees a short base jumping video (utilizing DTS), SLS demoed their least expensive line (the Q-Line) to be sold at Walmart. The demo was OK but it would have been nice to hear the mid (HT600 - around $3200) or high end (HT2401 - around $12k) systems. The HT2401 system was especially interesting with its tower fronts, bookshelf surrounds, and two 12" subs. The specs only list the subs down to 28Hz though the system looked absolutely gorgeous.
