APC / Rotel Power Conditioning Products

In a surprise announcement, American Power Conversion (APC) declared a partnership with Rotel to offer power conditioning and battery backup products. Rotel plans to introduce a select line of APC engineered power components during the first quarter of 2006 designed to work with the company's revered home theater equipment. The products are a joint effort between APC and Rotel, combining APC's power protection solutions and the signature qualities of Rotel's AV products.

RLC-1080 Power Conditioner (based on the APC S-15)
> The new RLC-1080 is based on the APC S-15 designed to match the look and feel of Rotel's high power amplifiers and features:

RLC-1040 Power Conditioner (based on the APC H-15)
> The new RLC-1080 is based on the H-15 and is designed to provide a more budget product to match the look and feel of Rotel's high power amplifiers and features:

• Multi-stage surge protection
