Sub-Terranean Subwoofers

We looked at some earth shattering subwoofer designs this week at CEDIA, but none were as unique as the Sub-Terranean Subwoofers. When accomponied with hidden or rock shaped speakers the system is designed to provide outdoor sound without detracting from the the yard. The box is made from aircraft grade aluminum and designed to be buried in a 2' x 3' hole, 2' deep. The subwoofer is powered by James 10" high excursion poly/cast bass basket driver and feature stainless steel hardware. A durable all weather PVC port is connected to the box using an impact resistant absorbtion rubber coupling, and is all you see of the subwoofer once it is buried.

The subwoofer wasn't setup for listening when we visited their booth, but according to the designer a second benefit of the Subterranean is that it clears ants and gophers from your yard for a 20 foot radius around the unit.
