RBH Sound TK Series Speakers

In harmony with RBH's philosophy of offering timbre-matched in-wall, in-ceiling and freestanding speakers for home theater, RBH introduced new freestanding counterparts to the popular TK Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.

The TK-5C is a 2-way bookshelf speaker. It features a 5-1/4-inch fiberglass cone woofer and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The TK-5C can handle 100 watts, has a frequency response is 60Hz-20kHz, measures 12.75" H x 7.125" W x 8.5" D and weighs 11 pounds each.

The TK-515C is the TK Series' 2-way bookshelf/center channel speaker. It features two 5-1/4" fiberglass cone woofers and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The TK-515C can handle 120 watts, has a frequency response is 60Hz-20kHz, measures 7.125" H x 20.75" W x 8.5" D and weighs 17 pounds each.

The TK-5CT is a 3-way tower speaker. It features an 8-inch kraft-pulp subwoofer, two 5-1/4" mid-woofers and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The TK-5CT can handle 150 watts, has a frequency response is 45Hz-20kHz, measures 42.5" H x 11" W x 13.25" D and weighs 40 pounds each.

The TK Series is designed to meet a specific price point, but RBH still did a pretty bang-up job on the TK Series' construction. 3/4-inch medium density fiberboard is used throughout the design of each model to prevent unwanted cabinet resonance and to enhance performance. Two finishes are available for the TK Series, standard black or rosewood with gloss black top/side accents depending on the model.

The suggested retail prices for the TK Series are: TK-5C, $499.99/pair; TK-515C, $299.99/each; and the TK-5CT, $899.99/pair. The TK Series freestanding speakers are slated to ship mid-October.
