[cambridge2] We looked at Cambridges line of HD radios today at the CEDIA EXPO in Denver, Colorado. Cambridge SoundWorks introduced the Soundworks Radio 820HD, a new table HD Radio that will retail for under $300.

A telescoping antenna supports the FM band, while a large internal ferrite antenna supports the AM band. Cambridges claims that as a result, the SoundWorks Radio 820HD will consistently deliver FM channels with near-CD quality sound, AM radio with FM-quality sound, and extra HD2 multicast channels featuring expanded formats. Users can also access up-to-the-minute text information, such as artist and song IDs, traffic alerts, sports scores and more. All with no monthly subscription fees required.
