Optoma Technology, Inc. debuts BigVizion, a customizable and modular 100-inch rear-projection display that can be either installed or built-into a wall. The BigVizion by Optoma will be among the first "video wall" concepts to feature 1080p resolution and ISF 3C modes.

Utilizing a single-mirror DLP system, the BigVizion will be offered in two sizes, 80- and 100-inches. The BigVizion will have one of the slimmest depths for a rear-projection display at these sizes, including an estimated 30-inch depth with the 100-inch (diagonal) screen size. The light engine can be accessed from the front of the optical screen.

The BigVizion features 5000:1 contrast, IR pass-through for system integration, Component, composite, S-Video, VGA, RGB and HDMI connectivity, and will support 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p inputs.

Targeted for the professional installer market, the BigVizion will be shipped as an easy-to-install modular system. The BigVizion comes with a customizable color scheme, to easily change the bezel color to match a customers' décor.
