CEDIA Preview: Gefen Unveils Wireless HDTV Extension Prototype

At CEDIA 2004 (Booth 46) Gefen, Inc. is pleased to present its first-ever, wireless digital video extension solution. The ex-tend-it HDTV Wireless Extender employs laser technology to extend high resolution digital video up to 50 feet without any connection cables. Not only does this pioneering solution improve installation processes plus general aesthetics, it saves money on cable costs.

In addition, Gefen's HDTV Extender over CAT5 cable (up to 150-feet) and its DVI and HDMI-1000 HD Extenders over fiber optics cables (up to 1640-feet) will also be available for demonstration and review.

Joining these are updated KVM extenders that support digital video displays, new high definition HDMI Switchers, an HDMI Splitter and USB and Firewire Extenders.
