The Sony BRAVIA KDL-60EX700 is one of five Internet-connected HDTVs announced in 2010 as part of the KDL-EX700 Series. As a more affordable option to the KDL-NX700 series, the KDL-EX700 models, including the 60” KDL-60EX700, do not include integrated wireless connectivity, although it is available as an optional upgrade. The KDL-60EX700 is the largest in the group, explaining its pricing at near $4000. It supports full 1080p HD resolution and can connect to the Internet via an Ethernet interface. Once connected to a network, users can stream movies and videos (Netflix, YouTube, Slacker, etc), personalize their viewing experience by adding information apps, or access the latest news and Twitter updates. Plus, USB-enabled devices like camcorders and MP3 players can be accessed through the unit’s USB port.
