The Sony BRAVIA KDL-46EX500 is one of five CCFL backlit LCD HDTVs announced in 2010 as part of the KDL-EX500 Series. Although priced the same as KDL-EX600 models, the KDL-46EX500 and its peers differ in that they utilize Motionflow 120Hz Technology, allowing for smoother transitions and onscreen movement. The KDL-46EX500 is a 46” unit featuring seven HDMI inputs (4 HDMI + 2 HDMI Component + 1 HDMI PC), allowing users to transmit full 1080p high-definition content from a Blu-ray disc player, a PC, or even a Playstation 3 gaming console. Included also is a USB interface for photo, music, and video playback from any USB-enabled device. Additional features include an ambient sensor for auto color adjustments, and BRAVIA SYNC for controlling all BRAVIA products via a single remote.
