The Sony BRAVIA KDL-40EX700 is one of five Internet-connected HDTVs announced in 2010 as part of the KDL-EX700 Series. As a more affordable option to the KDL-NX700 series, the KDL-EX700 models, including the 40” KDL-40EX700, do not include integrated wireless connectivity, although it is available as an optional upgrade. The KDL-40EX700 supports full 1080p high-definition resolution with an ultra-fast frame-rate, partially thanks to its Motionflow 120Hz technology. Included also are a plethora of connectivity options, including HDMI, composite, component, PC, and most importantly, Ethernet. Once connected to a network, users can stream movies and videos, or directly access the latest news and Twitter updates. Plus, USB-enabled devices like camcorders and MP3 players can be accessed through the unit’s USB port.
