10 or 12ga for sub?

With 2500 watts RMS going to this bad boy do I need 12ga or 10ga wire to power this sufficiently? Its about a 20 foot run of cable.

Agreed. I use 16 gauge for short runs of 8 feet and have full confidence my DIY subs are getting full power.

Moreover I doubt your sub will draw 2500 watts - the typical draw is far far less.
