Torian, a small Australian IT company, announced its new micro-sized InFusion portable Wi-Fi radio system.

The Infusion allows users to listen to any radio station in the world that streams through the World Wide Web, without the need of a computer. Its compact and stylish design (around the size of a business card) allows maximum portability to travelers and those stationed abroad who want to stay in touch with local news, sports, and music.

All you need is a wireless hotspot and InFusion locks on to the available Internet radio stations and displays them on the unit as selectable for listening. While detailed specs on the InFusion are still pending, basic features include:

  • Internet Radio: Listen to any Internet radio broadcast from anywhere in the world (subject to wireless hotspot availability)
  • Audio Recording: Record directly from the Internet, or via a timer recording function, and listen to the broadcast at a more convenient time/place.
  • News/Sports/Weather Ticker Tape: View the latest information on the built-in banner streaming facility
  • MP3 Player: Play MP3 music. The expandable memory slot allows as much memory as you need
  • FM Receiver: Listen to local FM
  • Rechargeable Batteries: Built-in lightweight rechargeable Li-Ion batteries
  • Stylish & Compact Design: Revolutionary design and menu concept. Light-weight and compact (around the size of a credit card.)
