  • First Impression: Pretty Cool

Mark Levinson once again lent his tuning skill to LG's newest HTiB. The LHT888 loudspeakers, inspired by the slim elegant form of the champagne glass, feature multiple drivers in parabolic housings, each with a tapered integrated pedestal. The system includes a 700W 5.1-channel DVD receiver with near 1080p upscaling, built-in wireless kit, USB Media Plus, HDMI output, LG SimpLink multi-device control (HDMI-CEC) and multi-format playback compatibility. These speakers certainly were pretty though we're not sure what "near" 1080p upscaling means (1079? 1063?). For more information please visit www.lge.com.
