Tensioned Advantage Electrol screen with Silent Motor

Summary

  • Product Name: Silent Motor
  • Manufacturer: Da-Lite
  • Review Date: January 07, 2008 00:05
  • First Impression: Mildly Interesting

While mostly just an upgrade, Da-Lite is now including their Silent Motor with their Tensioned Advantage Electrol screen line. The Silent Motor offers not only an over 30% reduction in sound versus standard motors, but also has a built in Low Voltage Control option available. The Tensioned Advantage Electrol line of screens are housed in an aluminum case with a trim flange that helps conceal in-ceiling installations. If you decide to mount the case on the ceiling, the case is painted while which should help it blend into white ceiling tiles. The Silent Motor is standard on all Tensioned Advantage Electrol screens up to 9' by 12'. This product is really designed for professional settings where the excessive noise of a motor may disrupt whatever meeting is going on. For more information, visit www.da-lite.com.
