The Samsung
UN55C8000 is one of four 3D-capable LED TVs (UN40, UN46, UN 55, UN65) released
in 2010. They each feature a built-in 3D processor and emitter that enable
compatibility with multiple 3D standards. The 55” UN55C8000 sits right
underneath its larger counterpart, the 65” UN65C8000. Both units utilize a
temporary design with LED edge lighting. More importantly, they host Samsung’s
recently expanded Internet@TV service, which now allows users to stream content
from Blockbuster, Netflix, USA Today, and VUDU video on
demand. Plus users can access other Internet applications/services like
Twitter, Pica, AccuWeather, and Pandora either by the integrated Ethernet
connection or via an optional WiFi adapter.
