The 40EX500 is a 40" LCD HDTV from Sony's BRAVIA EX500 Series for 2010.  The TV utilizes Sony's Bravia Engine 2 technology and features a full HD resolution of 1080p.  It offers a MotionFlow 120Hz refresh rate and includes a built-in digital TV tuner.  The TV also has integrated 10-watt stereo speakers with 5.1-channel output and Dolby Digital technology.  The 40EX500 includes an Ambient Sensor and LightSensor technology which adjust the picture color and brightness based on the lighting conditions of the room.  It also has a range of connectivity options including USB, PC, composite, HD component, and 4 HDMI ports.  This set was released in February 2010 and has a suggested retail price of $819.
