Triad OnWall Mini

At CEDIA 2007 this week, Triad Speakers introduced their OnWall Mini LCR loudspeaker system intended for on-wall use with microdisplays.  The latest model in its Mini LCR series, the OnWall Mini LCR is a compact, full-range, sealed enclosure loudspeaker that can be used without a subwoofer in smaller venues. As with all Triad products, the OnWall Mini LCR enclosure is a fully engineered and braced cabinet made of the finest MDF materials.

Inside the enclosure is a speaker array consisting of two 4-inch mid-range drivers and one 1-inch fabric tweeter that handle up to 150 watts (per enclosure). Drivers are screwed into specially designed threaded brass inserts, and held in place by custom designed gaskets, which further maintains a sealed enclosure.

The OnWall Mini LCR features Triad’s elegant Acoustimesh metal grill. Standard finishes for the speaker enclosure and grill are black, white and silver. To seamlessly blend into the home, the OnWall Mini LCR is available in virtually any custom color, and at no additional charge.

The OnWall Mini LCR retails for $550 each and is scheduled for October release.

He is one of the few people who actually purchased (and still owns) a CORE programmable remote control (bonus points if you remember this product).
