One fun product we saw at CEDIA 2007 was the Stinger Plus TV Arcade Game System, which not only brings home classic arcade games from the 80's and 90's, but also a full sized arcade style two-player controller.
The controller houses the complete system, which includes a PC that is pre-loaded with classic arcade games and electronic versions of pinball machines. The controller has controls for 2 players, side-by-side games, a dedicated 4-way joystick, pinball flippers, tilt buttons on the sides, and a full-sized 3" arcade trackball. The rear of the unit offers a slot loading DVD drive so you can load additional software or music.
The basic wood Stinger Plus has an MSRP of $3099, and there is a Crystal light-up version available for $3499. The manufacturer, Game Cabinets, Inc., also sells coctail table style arcade systems and classic upright systems.

Over the years J. has constantly found himself to be an "early-adopter," spending way too much money on "new" technologies such as Compact Disc, LaserDisc, and DVD. He is one of the few people who actually purchased (and still owns) a CORE programmable remote control (bonus points if you remember this product).
