Leslie Dame CD and DVD Storage

Sometimes it's nice to have some real furniture in which to store your CDs and DVDs. As I was walking the halls of CES I noticed a small booth off to the side that had some really excellent looking furniture for storing CDs and DVDs. I've seen a lot of different storage solutions, but these were very nice. I was fortunate enough to be able to speak with Leslie Dame, President and founder of the company, who told me a little bit about their history - which, believe it or not, originated in 1965 when he came out with an 8-track carrying case. The company eventually started designing 36-44 piece CD cases from Teak wood once that media format started to dominate the marketplace and eventually the company's line eveolved into nicely-designed media storage for VHS, CD and DVD. There are now 60 different models made from solid oak and oak veneer. This company has some great products and you should be able to find them in retailers around the country or online at www.ldestorage.com .
