Exotic Power Receptacles

No outrageous power conditioning claims made for these outlet boxes found at the Alexis Park. Just a high price. We didn't ask but the individual dual outlets alone cost $120 each. Then add the cost of a chassis to a system with claimed " separate analog and digital outlets " and you've got a true purist ....what the heck is this thing called anyways...no mirrors but possible smoke?

[DAY1_054]The demo consisted of handing the showgoer a flashlight so they could beam the light into the outlet and see the larger-than-standard contact area offered. Note the cost of the outlets in the rear facing shot. The duplex outlet on the left looks to be a modification of a standard UL a pproved outlet with its large insulated plastic case. The unit on the right however could not be confirmed to have any UL approval at all! This is hardly surprising when you look at the small plastic insulator case which appears to be made and intended for use in another country. Incidentally, the extra cost unit on the right is for the small, unidentified (lead strip??) "RFI shield" seen running from top-to-bottom of the two outlets. Are these guys serious or what?
