Yamaha had a few new speakers this year at CEDIA 2005. The new NS-M525 (bookshelves/surrounds) with the 525F (three way bass-reflex tower speaker) and C525F (center) were on display.

Yamaha also showed off two in-wall speakers (NS-IW660 and NS-IW960) and an in-ceiling speaker (NS-IW560C). All sported 1" dome tweeters with swivel ability, paintable grills with protective covers, gold plated push type speaker terminals, and 150 watt maximum input. The NS-IW660 has a 6.5" Kevlar cone woofer and a 1-5/8" aluminum midrange driver while the NS-IW960 has two 6.5" Kevlar cone woofers and NW-IW560 sports an 8" Kevlar cone woofer.
