Salk Sound Veracity HT2-TL Review [0.13] by tom,March 01, 2010 02:00
With the SongTowers, Salk Sound redefined the under $2k price point and now it looks like they are trying to do the same with the under $4k. The performance of the Veracity's is in a completely different league from other speakers I've heard in this, and higher price categories. With commanding bass, ruler flat response, and what is possibly the finest veneer I've ever seen on a speaker, it's hard to find something about the Veracity HT2-TLs to not like. You owe it to yourself to hear the Veracity HT2-TLs.

Onkyo HT-S6500 and HT-S7500 HTiB Preview [0.12] by tom,June 20, 2012 22:05
The new HT-S7500 and HT-S6500 Home Theater in a Box offerings from Onkyo have reaffirmed that Onkyo is dedicated to staying at the very top of the HTiB game. These offerings differ little on the feature front and include many features we're only now seeing in receivers from other manufactures. While the Audyssey 2EQ is a bit outdated and we question the logic of adding a Zone 2 to a HTiB solution, you can't argue that 4K upscaling, InstaPrevue, a full suite of streaming features, and 6+ HDMI inputs are very attractive. Add in speakers and a price tag under $900 (under $800 for the 5.1 channel HT-S6500) and color us impressed.

Human Touch HT-1650 AcuTouch Massage Chair Review [0.12] by clint,June 08, 2009 01:05
Home theater chairs are the finishing polish on a room that really makes an impact. While a good audio and video system is imperative to a quality experience, having a good set of leather chairs will really make a big splash on your guests. They really differentiate the dedicated rooms from those who simply shove a bunch of gear into a room. But what about replacing the typical high-end home theater chair with a massage chair from Human Touch? The possibilities are endless. For roughly the same price as a high-end custom chair you can have a robotic masseuse at your fingertips… now that's something to consider.
