Shhhh, be vewry verwy quiet, I hunting HDTV! [0.36] by Gene,April 29, 2007 14:04
According to an article in the Associated Press (AP), there is an increasing trend of consumers hooking up their multi thousand dollar HDTV’s with $50 rabbit ear (or as Elmer Fudd refers to as “wabbit ear”) antennas much like grandpa used back in the day. Why you ask? Well truth be told, many local TV channels that broadcast in HD over-the-air, offer superior picture quality over the often-compressed signals sent by cable and satellite TV companies.

DISH Winegard Pathway X2 Portable Satellite Dish Antenna [0.34] by clint,October 02, 2013 21:33
DISH has a new product, the Winegard Pathway X2 portable satellite dish antenna. There are a couple really great things about this. First, it's automatically self-pointing and you can connect it to two HD solo receivers. That means you can set it up at a tailgating party and use dual satellite receivers. On top of that, the antenna can track with either the Eastern or Western satellite arcs. So if you're stuck parked next to a building that blocks your view of the western arc, you can switch over to the eastern arc and pick up all your channels.
Antennas Direct DB8e Ultra Long Range Antenna Review [0.34] by clint,March 29, 2013 18:35
Antennas Direct bills the the new DB8e as the "most powerful HDTV antenna in the world." If antennas dream of being superheroes, the DB8e is what they'd want to be. But does the DB8e puff out its chest and have little or no actual powers that exceed the norm? We wanted to find out, so we requested one and mounted it on a roof in Lakeland, a town in Central Florida that lies roughly between Orlando and Tampa. Before I spill the beans on how our experiment went, let me tell you a bit more about the DB8e itself.
ClearStream Micron XG Indoor Antenna Review [0.32] by Andrew Gash,September 21, 2011 08:55
Now, when Antennas Direct claimed to have developed a new Micron XG Clearstream indoor model that was capable of hitting some pretty impressive numbers, well that was rather difficult to imagine. So, with our interest piqued, we grabbed it and hooked it up. Most of the television antenna's we've installed in the past few years have been larger outdoor units, set up specifically to capture all of the available stations in our local area. Where we live, smack dab between two major cities, we don't have the easy access to broadcast towers enjoyed by people who happen to live in the cities where these signals originate.
Miglia TVMini HD Review [0.30] by jclarke,October 31, 2006 20:00
Hello, I’m a Mac. And many of you are probably a PC. And while I am sure that some of you PCs have tinkered with a HTPC or even purchased a media center system based on Microsoft’s Windows Media Center operating system, there are still many Mac users who also happen to be TV enthusiasts who have not yet mixed HDTV with their personal computers. The TVMini HD system is a very simple and effective way to add high-def TV to your Macintosh. The system promises to allow you the ability to watch, pause, rewind and skip forward live HDTV, as well as the ability to schedule, record and edit your favorite shows. Miglia recently sent me the system to try out, and I am here to tell you it delivers. Within minutes of opening the box, I was watching full screen HDTV on my widescreen MacBook Pro laptop. Like most software and hardware developed for the Mac OS, it comes out of the box working.
