“Thanks to epic songs, fantastical lyrics and
extravagant drum solos, [Rush] rocks on through the
21st century…the scope of [their] achievements is
undeniable…”
–Rolling Stone
Surely this is a misprint, right? Rolling Stone magazine has something positive to say about the band Rush? Snubbed by the publication for years, it seems someone finally saw it fit to do a decent story on the band earlier this year during their most recent tour supporting Snakes & Arrows. The first leg of this tour began in 2007 and Rush has just released Snakes & Arrows Live on DVD.

Are you ready for the best Yes concert DVD to ever hit the market? Folks, I have them all; I own Yessongs, Live in Philadelphia (1979), Live From the House of Blues, Anderson - Bruford - Wakeman - Howe, and even Keys to Ascension and none of these even come close to the audio, video and production of Yes Symphonic Live.

For the "One More Car One More Rider" Live on tour 2001, Eric Clapton backed himself up with some of the finest Jazz musicians in the industry. For starters is the amazing Steve Gadd on drums. You may remember him from Steely Dan, Al DiMeola (guitar), Chic Corea (keyboard) and the list goes on.

Steely Dan is one of my all time, favorite bands. Their music offers tremendous diversity, style and talent that's found in few bands today. Furthermore, their music has endured the test of time and even their most recent work, "Two Against Nature," is destined to be a classic.

Great sound performance from such an incredibly great movie. The opening scene against the Germanic Barbarians is enough to give this movie a 5-thumber. IT IS AWESOME…nuff said.

Solid sounds stemming from many high-performance vehicles really impressed me about this film. Since this was a movie of the action genre, it was "constant". It was certainly better than the original film, when it comes to audio.

This is the thrill-packed story of two Vietnam-vets-turned-cops who have just one other thing in common: both hate to work with partners. But their partnership becomes the key to survival when a routine murder investigation leads to all-out, take-no-prisoners, martial-arts-and-machine-guns war with an international heroin ring.

The sound performance in this movie was very good. Of course, this was no disc of the action genre, but was still crisp and clear. The surround sound could be definitely be discerned throughout. Great!

Al Pacino gives an unforgettable performance as Tony Montana, one of the most ruthless gangsters ever depicted on film, in this gripping crime epic inspired by the 1932 classic of the same title.
