Add motorization to that and it might just be the most perfect feature we've ever come across. When seated in the reclined or inclined position while watching movies, one of the key elements to comfort is the ability to adjust the position of your headrest. In my Berkline chairs, one of the problems I have is that my neck is not properly supported. Watch a 2 hour movie and you will often come away with a neck ache (and yes, we're desperately trying to keep this all in its proper perspective, still). An articulating headrest will allow for proper neck support while viewing an image on the screen no matter what recline position the back rest is in. As we've found, the lack of such feature can result in back and neck pains and a greatly diminished movie-watching experience.

Cineak Luxury Edition Fortuny Home Theater Seats Preview

Cineak manufactures some of the most high end, beautiful custom-designed home theater seating we've yet seen. We've seen them at several industry events and their home theater, lounge, and modular sofa seating is beyond comfortable. Beyond that, they work features into their products that makes them both comfortable AND usable. This week the company introduced the "Luxury Edition" of their Fortuny theater chair. The Luxury Edition gives custom installers and consumers the ability to select from even more exotic and unique materials, stitching, and finishes. The Fortuny model is one of the company's best-selling theater chairs and focuses on blending comfort, elaborate presence and quality craftsmanship. The chair was designed by the Mitra Theaters team as a seating solution for their exclusive high-end home theater projects.

Human Touch PC-095 Perfect Chair Review

Since perfection can be pretty hard to attain, we figured we definitely had to take a closer look at the Perfect Chair, as it is called, from Human Touch. The PC-095 Perfect Chair is either a perfect crossover or a decent compromise between comfort and home theater seating, depending on your point of view.

Human Touch HT-1650 AcuTouch Massage Chair Review

Home theater chairs are the finishing polish on a room that really makes an impact. While a good audio and video system is imperative to a quality experience, having a good set of leather chairs will really make a big splash on your guests. They really differentiate the dedicated rooms from those who simply shove a bunch of gear into a room. But what about replacing the typical high-end home theater chair with a massage chair from Human Touch? The possibilities are endless. For roughly the same price as a high-end custom chair you can have a robotic masseuse at your fingertips… now that's something to consider.

Salamander Designs Jump Seat Ottoman

Salamander Designs introduced one of the more practical home theater seating products we've seen to-date dubbed the Jump Seat Ottoman. The unique Jump Seat Ottoman unfolds to reveal a hide-away theater seat that can be used as a secondary or extra seat for watching movies or playing video games. If you've got fours seats and you add four of these puppies, you've just doubled your home theater seating ability. Of course the Jump Seat serves as a traditional ottoman, with a cushioned surface ready to convert a comfortable seat into a chaise lounge. Either way it looks good and works equally well with all of Salamander Designs’ varied Home Theater Seating Systems.

SUMO Omni Bean Bag Chair Review

In a home theater or listening room you need to sit. For some, the constraints may warrant that the typical theater chair simply isn’t going to be an option (like in a dorm room). For others, they may be looking for something for the kids, or perhaps something a bit less mainstream.

Cuddlebag Kiddie Bag Review

The Kiddie Bag is Cuddlebag’s smallest Cuddlebag, measuring in at a stated 4’ – half the size of their largest bag. In truth, the relaxed state of the bag takes up about 4.5 feet in width, not bad, but something that should be considered if you have specific or restricted space requirements.

Cuddlebag Bean Bag Chairs Review

I can’t deny it. I’ve tried, but it haunts me as something that will forever mark my life as a memory that cannot be shaken: I love bean bags. One of the most pleasant experiences I can remember was sinking into an oversized gigantic beanbag chair that completely enveloped me such that I thought I may not ever be able to escape its clutches (of course, being 3 at the time this meant that the bag could have been about 3 feet wide). Still, I have always loved the idea of a chair that truly conforms itself to the shape of your body. I thought the day of the bean bag had come and gone – but Cuddlebag has brought it back with a twist.
