Executive Overview
Hitachi decided that they'd like to introduce their own brand of wireless HDTV with the Wireless HDTV Distribution Network. With other manufacturers looking at only one source, Hitachi is attempting to do up to three. The Wireless HDTV Distribution Network utilizes an 802.11n network that claim whole house coverage. Hitachi is touting that a user friendly interface, QoS error correction, and best channel selection. The box is still a prototype and there is no word when we might see this technology in the future.
