SV Sound AS-EQ1 Subwoofer Correction System

by Gene DellaSala last modified January 30, 2007
Filed under: Audio & Video Processors

SV Sound unveiled their new subwoofer correction system - the AS-EQ1. This product features Audyssey MultEQ XT which has traditionally been found on flagship receivers (most notably Denon's) and also spun off into Audyssey's own dedicated processor. What makes this product so cool is it's the first stand alone processor featuring Audyssey technology designed specifically for use with subwoofers. The AS-EQ1 automatically measures room response for up to eight primary listening locations, and uses fuzzy math to determine the best equalization curve to optimize every seat. According to SVS, you can control up to two subwoofers with a single unit making it ready to optimize your dual subwoofer home theater system for every seat.

MSRP is set to be around $700
