Sherwood Newcastle R-872 HDMI 1.3 Receiver

The R-872, is similar to the R-972 with the following exceptions:
- Alphanumeric instead of GUI OSD
- One less optical input
- SNAP Room EQ instead of Audyssey MultEQ XT
- Cirrus CS-49700 instead of the TI DSPs
- Four HDMI inputs instead of Six
The R-672 (pictured) is the entry level receiver in this line up and also includes HDMI 1.3 (switching only), Dual Point SNAP EQ. It doesn't however decode Dolby TruHD or DTS HD.
