Following in the "slimmer is better tradition," Crystal Acoustics (known as Crystal Audio overseas) showed off their slim-line SmArt Speaker system. Available in the either 8 or 4 three inch aluminum driver configurations, what sets these speakers apart from the pack is their ability to change with your mood. Detachable plates on both sides of the speakers slide up and can be removed, allowing your significant other to chose between 8 different colors (dark cherry, maple, piano black, silver, yellow, red, dark cherry veneer, or maple veneer). Designed to be utilized with a sub, these speakers showcase a level of WAF very rarely seen in a market dominated by black boxes, huge cabinets, and a black is better mentality. Look for these to start around $1500.
