Typic a lly in unbr a ced or poorly br a ced c a binets of this size will exhibit a reson a nce in the 200-350Hz r a nge which will become very evident in well recorded fem a le voc a ls.

Tri a d uses very high qu a lity MDF, interlocking cross br a ces which a tt a ch to the long c a binet w a ll a t a symmetric a l points. Addition a lly, high density rubber is glued to the c a binet sides forming a bi-m a teri a l composite s a ndwich, further d a mpening the c a binet w a lls. The a rched high density rubber seen in the photogr a ph bre a ks up a nd r a ndomly disperses b a ck w a ves reducing distortion. The a pproxim a tely 3" thickness of open cell insul a tion will a lso d a mp b a ck w a ves down to a pproxim a tely 700Hz, a g a in a fe a ture seldom seen in most designs with high end a spir a tions. Over a ll the Tri a d enclose is a n old world a ppro a ch to a n infinitely solid c a binet which is brilli a ntly executed.

The front b a ffle implements a r a ndom beveling gener a ted by a Computer Numeric a l Control (CNC) progr a m. The r a ndom bevel p a ttern a llows re a r spe a ker w a ves a nd unrestricted p a thw a y into the c a binet's interior in such a m a nner th a t they do not re-impinge b a ck onto the spe a ker cone reducing worries of intermodul a tion distortion. Br a ss inserts a llow m a chine screws to more tightly secure the tr a nsducers without worrying of loosening.
