Pioneer Elite VSX-72TXV Receiver

Pioneer showed off its new VSX-72TXV Elite receiver which will retail for $1200 (according to the Pioneer marketing rep - though the website says $1400). The VSX-72TXV is equipped with 2 HDMI digital inputs. The VSX-72TXV is also XM Radio "Connect and Play" ready and "Ready for iPod" with iPod cable included. Both highly popular digital audio formats are easily controlled from the VSX-72TXV's remote control with complete On-Screen Display. The receiver boasts 130 Watts to all 7 channels and a new Advanced MCACC calibration system. Burr Brown 192kHZ / 24-Bit digital to analog converters, a new Phase Control bass management system, and new Standing Wave compensation circuitry round out the feature set.
