B&W CT8 Series Loudspeakers

B&W unveiled a new loudspeakers series intended to be integrated for custom install applications. We were initially a bit taken by their boxy appearance and wondered if B&W was returning to their older style cabinet designs until the B&W Product Manager informed us that this series was intended to be placed into in-wall cabinetry such as entertainments centers and/or custom sunken in-wall applications.

  • Dual 15" carbon fiber / rigid foam Rohacell cone woofers (try to say that fast 10 times!)
  • Matrix cabinets
  • Active Bass Crossovers
  • Frequency Response: 15Hz - 40Hz +- 3dB (kinda low upper limit ???)

  • Dipole portion remote selectable via 12V trigger
  • 6 x 4" mid/hi drivers
  • 1 ¼" metal Nautilus tweeter
  • 6" Kevlar cone FST midrange
  • 2 x 10" fiber / rigid foam Rohacell cone woofers
  • Adjustable mid/tweeter sphere
  • Matrix cabinet
  • Active Bass Crossovers
  • Frequency Response: 30Hz to 22kHz +-3dB
