Take SAT: front ported two way comp act 3 ½" woofer, 1" aluminum tweeter

Take LCR: front ported dual 3 ½" woofer, 1" aluminum tweeter

The Take FPS was designed to offer performance with flexibility. The Take FPS may be mounted horizontally or vertically.

All of the Take speakers employ Energy's patented Elliptical surround which is said to eliminate distortion commonly found with traditional surrounds. In addition the Elliptical surround is said to increase driver excursion and usable cone area creating a more efficient speaker capable of moving more volumes of air for higher SPL's.

All of the Take speakers employ Energy's chambered Aluminum tweeter which isolates the driver from the rest of the cabinet, lowers the tweeters resonance frequency and increases its dispersion characteristics.

Take TWR: front ported tower with four (4) 4 ½" woofers, 1" aluminum tweeter

The Energy Take TWR represents Energy's flagship speaker in the Take series. It's dual 4 1/2" woofers and 1" aluminum tweeter ensure high efficiency (92dB SPL @ 1 meter), low bass extension (-3dB, 52 Hz), and high power handling (250 watts).

Energy adheres to the design principles established by the National Research Council (NRC) which include smooth frequency and power response, broad dispersion characteristics, low distortion and wide bandwidth.

These are speakers that appear to be designed to sound as good as they look which a price in reach of most audio enthusiasts looking for a high performance and sleek solution.
